“ I loved every moment that I spent with the Dance Club and Sho’ Troupe. Choreographing numbers for the spring performance was a creative outlet for me, and some of the friendships I made with other women who had a passion for dance have lasted for more than a decade now. ”
How has Washington College contributed to the person you are? 
The small class sizes and faculty who were truly invested in their students’ growth provided me a platform to contribute to class dialogue. That confidence carried over to my graduate courses at a much larger university where I might have otherwise felt too shy to be vocal. I also appreciated my student job as an aide in the Admissions Office, which prepared me to work in a professional office setting.
If you were a Washington College student today, what would you be sure to pursue or take advantage of? 
If I were a student today, I would spend more time in the Literary House, because even though I don’t have a talent for creative writing, attending more readings would expand my world view. I would also explore downtown Chestertown more and support its small businesses.
